The HealMobile attended this year's convention of Young Living Essential Oils in Orlando, Florida, and it was an utter, fire-cracking sky-show. Fireworks at Epcot Center indeed, with a 30' (?) spinning steel-trussed globe of Earth's continents picturing happy faces and accomplishments possible for this world. Stunning. (My first trip; now get the hubbub. Will take my grandchildren, as my parents took theirs! Definitely a heal-mobile show.)
New Product: Essentialzymes-4. "A multi-spectrum enzyme complex to aid digestion of fats, proteins, fiber, and carbohydrates." This combines the many YL enzyme products into one powerhouse. All you need to do is take two 2x a day. We were also reminded to take five or more Detoxyzme before bedtime to help the body do its night job of cleansing and repairing.
New Product: Slique Tea. "Ocotea Oolong Cacao Slimming Spice Tea." With boswellia sacra and stevia extract to boot! There's a picture of a frankincense resin burneron the box. You can smell the chocolate in it and it tastes wonderful, sweetened or not. Gives more and better energy than coffee while helping release excess weight.
New Product: Yacon syrup. This sweetener is made from a plant in the cassava family. It was introduced last year as a sweetener for the chocolate bars YL produced briefly. Now, the Young Living farm in Ecuador produces enough Yacon for small product runs and research.
Yacon has shown promise as a powerful antioxidant which may help prevent colon cancer and osteoporosis. Yacon leaves are distilled to produce an essential oil which stops the development of detrimental organisms in the colon. It also has been shown to reduce fat and triglycerides in the blood. Yacon has many of the same attributes, but in greater measure, of green tea, ellagic acid and alpha-tocopherals.
Yacon may also help prevent type 2 diabetes. It also stimulates an increased fat burning metabolic function. Only limited quantities were available at 2011 Convention and it will be soon offered to the public.
New Product: Roller Fitments. "Convert 5- or 15-ml Young Living essential oil bottles into roll-on applicators for convenient, one-the-go use." On the back there's a Notice, "The Roller Fitments are designed to ONLY fit bottles with "Sb" located on the bottom of the bottle." This covers a wide range. On our shelves, blends like Common Sense, Envision, Joy, Gratitude, Christmas Spirit, PanAway (all 5ml); Awaken, Melrose and Sacred Mountain (all 15ml) and single oils like Fennel, Ocotea, Tsuga, Palo Santo, Cypress and Wintergreen can take the new tops. Many more will be suitable. We created a multi-oil blend for a client's scalp condition and the roller fitment works great.
