Here's My Healing Story: A Journey and A Saga
My healing story begins with the fact that on Tuesday 8/18, I visited the brother acupuncturist, herbalist and chiropractor Dr. Tyran Mincey at his office in Greenwich Village. It seems I'm rid of the parasites but still have a yeast problem, which is slightly better than it was when I visited in February. I'm lacking B-vitamins severely, which would help clear up all my skin outbreaks and what he called seborrhea dermatitis on my scalp. It's all really the same thing he said. I seem to have enough minerals and no longer have the heavy metals in my system he noted before. This to me is a milestone. He's a kinesiologist, e.g., muscle-energy tester, as well. (The haters don't understand it, but let them fill up the hospitals! See the Wiki and the fraud sites for more.) (Mincey: 295 Bloomfield Ave., Montclair NJ 07042. (973) 744-1155; 27 Downing Street. New York NY 10014. (212) 463-7315) I also still have the stomach issues, the hiatal hernia. He pulled it down for me, adjusting me by working the vertebrae in my back and neck. When he tested me again I was much stronger. Let's not eat heavy foods --meat and potatoes!-- and combine foods improperly. I told him I was doing much better in this regard generally, and don't have food seeming to come up into my throat because I ensure I don't lay down right after eating.
I still don't have enough acid in my stomach, which means my food is not getting enough acid to be digested correctly. I asked if lemon water in the AM would help and we muscled tested with the lemon oil and nothing happened. He said it may be good for something else but not for that. I need the digestive enzymes. My adrenals are still quite weak which is why the yeast has held on so long. Muscle testing the oils with me and the coriander proved to be very helpful. Also the wolfberries--I happened to have a tincture with me and he tested that; said I need about 5 servings. I told him
Ningxia Red (click & scroll for details)
is probably higher in value than the tincture. The coriander oil is good for both my stomach and adrenals I think he said. He said I needed B-vitamins, especially B6 (pyrodoxin). Eat whole grains. I told him I've been trying to stay away from rice for example, since it adds weight. The truth is I hate cooking food that doesn't get eaten. (My new strategy is to cook it and make soup with the remainder, duh!) I've also concentrated on vegetables rather than starches, obviously to my detriment. He said, Soak them first. I thought I had read about soaking grain but had never done it for rice (kush [cracked bulghur]--yes; quinoa would only need soaking lightly). It means you just warm it up when you're ready, you really don't have to cook any grain, and of course it's better for you. I said I have millet and lots of different rices at home... Also eat the dark vegetables, he said. When I got home I noticed I had stuff--bee pollen, brewer's yeast to put in juices, Young Living's "His" vitamins which is packed with B-vitamins, and of course brown basmati, short grain brown rice and long grain brown rice. Put short grain on to soak since Jonathan said he likes it. Must season it well because I hadn't notice him liking it THAT much. Should have soaked the almonds as well. I'll have to ask the doctor whether I should avoid the brewer's yeast because of the yeast. I know it is packed with B-vitamins. Here's B6-vitamin info from Mamashealth.com:
VITAMIN B6, also called pyridoxine, is essential in the breakdown of carbohydrates, proteins and fats. Pyridoxine is also used in the production of red blood cells. Pyridoxine can be found in many foods: liver, meat, brown rice, fish, butter, wheat germ, whole grain cereals, and soybeans.
EXCESS of Vitamin B6
More than 500mg can cause irreversible nerve damage. The nerve damage can cause impaired walking, numbness, tingling and poor sense of touch.
DEFICIENCY of Vitamin B6
Deficiency of pyridoxine is rare. However, pyridoxine deficiency often occurs in alcoholics. Deficiency causes skin disorders, disruption of the nervous system, confusion, poor coordination and insomnia. Pyridoxine is also called pyridoxal phosphate and pyridoxamine.
Hmmm. Well, I'm not an alcoholic (though I'm high on life!). Maybe excess of pyridoxine from meat-eating is what is causing mom's issues with her feet--she can hardly walk and nerve damage may have been present in her feet feeling numb or tingly sometimes. This has subsided greatly since I've been doing reiki on her and applying essential oils. She just got the toenail of the big right toe cut off by a podiatrist. My stomach churns as I write this. It still means my work was not in vain and helped. I know I've been helping, and so has the every other day application of jolts of electricity (machine name to come; it came from the physical therapist) to her feet to restore feeling in the nerve receptors...I don't know if I have this quite right! Something like that. Her chiropractor said he feared her brain wasn't getting messages from her feet and vice versa, and that she was an example of diabesity, a contraction of diabetes and obesity. He also expressed fear she may lose a limb like other patients he's seen with this. NOT happening on my watch! More on this as I proceed. ....Well, the latest is she's now a much happier camper now that there are a physical and occupational therapist, home health aide, social worker and nurse checking mom out at home. Though the pic above is over a year old, it captures how we're feeling now. (me, left; mom, right)
Certainly the B6 deficiency leading to skin disorders is my issue.Dr. Mincey also said he dries his grain after soaking and makes wonderful pancakes with it. My dryer is only for fruits and vegetables; and I could line it I guess to dry something so grainy as rice or bulghur. Trying to recall which grain he did this with...now I'm going to look up food and oils good for lack of B-vitamins in the diet; also how to correct "not enough acid in my stomach." This means I'm short on hydrochloric acid I believe and this IS a huge issue now that I understand it. My food is not breaking down and feeding me properly because of it. My nerves being shot because of adrenal loss--he didn't use the word "exhaustion" nor did he say my nerves were shot--is contributing to me not being at optimum. Did I tell you I need 5 ounces of Ningxia red (goji/wolfberry juice) a day? Mincey deduced that from the muscle testing. Must do! This healing story is an ongoing one, no doubt. See my personal testimony page for info on how
essential oils are part of my healing story
and my tackling of the above issues.
