Personal
Testimony: What It's Like Using Pure Essential Oils
My
personal testimony about essential oils therapy begins in this moment
and works backward. I have been married two and a half years
to the love of my life, who I found as a consequence of the opening of
my heart, which was helped along with the healing elixers in 5ml or
15ml bottles that I now CANNOT do without.
When
I first got divorced years ago, the oils were extremely useful
in
helping me to cope. By wearing the blend called Joy™
I learned to love myself and express this emotion despite whatever was
thrust before me ~ dealing with old memories that I faced without hurt
and shame, and with new understanding.
Joy
is a very important oil to me because I didn't think it was so joyful
or sweet-smelling at first, and said so. I was not above trying it
though! Ingredients include rose, bergamot, mandarin, ylang ylang,
lemon, geranium, jasmine, palmarosa, Roman chamomile and
rosewood.
Over
time I grew to love the scent and the deeper awareness this combination
of oils raises in me. The aromatic and emotional constituents have
helped me to exercise a new muscle I call "it'll take care of itself,
in a rosey-tangy way" (all that citrus). To honor possibility just by
the aroma of an oil is a beautiful thing.
This is one reason we diffuse Joy at
health fairs.
Another
oil that I love for its supporting my feelings of wholeness is
ylang ylang, which means flower of flowers in Filipino.
The petals of this flower are spread on the wedding bed of newlyweds.
It surely helps to harmonize my male and female energies and I feel
much more feminine, earthy and grounded as a woman when using it. It
inspires harmonious partnering between individuals and harmonizes the
gendered parts of the self ~ I can testify to both of
these outcomes.
Oils
that replace my sugar co-dependency (sweet is good!) include coriander,
nutmeg, cinnamon bark and fennel. Just a drop added to
tea is delightful and restorative. For the perils of common table sugar
and guidance toward alternatives, click
here. I do reflexology on
myself with Valor™ and Sacred Mountain blends.
These
wonderful oils also
help to "anoint" my coping mechanisms by relaying the oil molecules
through the soles and other sections of my feet. I use Di-Gize™ on my
stomach, liver and intestinal areas to increase my body's ability to
absorb nutrients from food. This fall I used
GLF™~ the
gall bladder-liver flush ~ to help detox these two organs. I stayed
regular and my skin seems much clearer. I also used Stress Away™ to
lessen the burden of the 9-5. It's vanilla-lime scent is heavenly.
If
you want to know how my body reacts when I've overloaded my liver and
not detoxed, see way below. Better my skin than my c
olon is what I say. I am
happy to report I have no more breakouts.
Anyway,
I
love using cypress
on my knees and calves. I've practically forgotten I
used to have pre-arthritic knee pain (so-called "runs in the family"),
for which my mother turned down knee surgery. I've been using it on
her knees and feet and she too no longer has knee pain.
When
I got my eyes checked after only about four months of drinking the NingXia
Red (formerly known as Berry Young Juice) daily, the
doctor said they seemed to have improved a bit, and hesitated to
stress, "only slightly. Your prescription will be slightly weaker." Yet
I know the goji berries are legendary for enriching the eyes. The
juices made with it have earned accolades for improving eyesight to the
point of removing glasses altogether.
As
a former journalist and editor I was overjoyed to hear the
optometrist's comments, reluctant as they were. My eyes had been
getting progressively worse with every biennial trip for a check-up.
Now, I take my glasses off a lot during the course of a day, and
driving seems to be the only place I really need them. I've typically
used them for distance and TV, not reading. I am using them less for TV
these days, too.
On
the spiritual front, using frankincense, myrrh, Idaho balsam fir,
and Believe™ and Surrender™ blends
of therapeutic oils, the
Creator has
opened my intuition and taught me to use it to serve people better. My
life is a constant roll of things falling into place rather than apart,
as Chinua Achebe wrote passionately about (Things Fall Apart).
I find
myself constantly imagining how things will come together rather
than
break into pieces, sections or factions.
The
HealMobile
is one way this thought pattern has manifested. My vision
for the world (aka my alignment with Source or God's will for me) are
echoes of the awakening experiences of the protagonist in The Healers,
the wonderful book we must all read by Ayi Kwei Armah.
There
comes a point when one turns from childhood, the past and other folk's
stories toward one's own gift or present-that-you-are. Life can be your
time to create your own "idea of fun," rather than say, "that's NOT my
idea of fun," like when Mom used to use her saliva to clean out my nose.
Some
people call it co-creating with God. Therapeutic grade essential oils
help me to understand that language, though I submit I also, equally,
create nothing but thought and not even that by leave of something
bigger than myself.
The
elevating frequencies of these medicinal oils,
their aroma and their annointing value as food for the spirit bring me
to put it this way: I think / thank God, therefore I Am as We Are.
My
story is an ongoing story of miracles. Perhaps Magnify
Your Purpose™ and Highest
Potential™ oil blends have helped with this.
I have just started using Envision. You would have to study quantum
physics and the vibrational frequencies of matter, including plant
substances and thoughts, to know that reference to the "help" of oils
is not of the idolatrous sort.
"Superstition Ain't The Way" as Stevie
Wonder sang. My meditation and salats (contact-with-God service
prayers) have all been strengthened by my pursuit of the best and
purest therapeutic oils. So have my reiki ability and efforts to meet
the goals of my day job. I am grateful, appreciative of breath and
speech, and inspired in this moment.
The
personal
testimony within the bio page also gives a sense of
how these oils have affected me. And I want to emphasize that the
quality and
purity of the oils are the absolute
essential bottom line of aromatherapy and using oils to
sustain
health. You gotta have them.

THE
LATEST
I
summoned the courage and signed up for an
aromatherapy certification course. The first two sessions of
classes was outstanding. Spikenard is my
new favorite oil! I could not believe the difference in my whole
demeanor after I was annointed with this oil. What an honor to have met
wonderful like-minded spirits in the class, and the teacher Linda
Smith, R.N., author of several books including Healing
Oils, Healing Hands. You gotta have it!

Good thing I'm
learning how to heal myself ya think!? Ugh!
